Nearing Deadline

I only have about two weeks left on the first round of ALTERED revisions, so my posting has been rather on the light side over here. But soon, my friends, I will be posting again!

I'm feeling pretty good on this revision. And by 'good' I mean, I don't feel like I want to jump off a cliff. So, ya know, that's a plus.

A lot of things have changed, and changed for the better. I just hope I pulled it off all right!

Anyway, because I've been kinda quiet on the blogging front, and because writing a post takes a lot brain power, I made a pretty picture for the blog instead. I'll leave you with this---

And sometime later this week, I might do a post (or a series of posts) on a few of my favorite book covers. Fun times, I tell you.

  2. Wow, I really enjoyed what I've read on your blog so far. I can't wait to read Altered! Just read the pitch and now I'm so curious to find out who those charactera are. I really love Dystopian novels, I've been reading them all this week (Right now I'm reading Blood Red Road). It must've been really exciting to sign the contract for your book and make things "Officail". Good luck with everything! I'll be checking back here soon (new follower). :)

P.S I'm watching that J.K Rowling documentary you mentioned in a previous post. Thanks for reccomending it.

  3. Yay! I can't wait to share ALTERED with people next year, although I *am* a tiny bit nervous about the whole thing.

That J.K. Rowling documentary was awesome, wasn't it? :D

  4. Her story really inspires me as a writer, especially the parts abouther earlier life. I'm so glad I watched it.

I went to go vote for ALTERED on the 2012 YA list on goodreads yesterday. Seeing all the dystopian novels on it made me happy. Good luck with the first round of revisions! It's actually my favorite part of the writing process. The only thing I don't like about it is removing all the scenes you thought were awesome, but they're actualy slowing down the story.
